Meet Stellar Chair Lifts
OUR SISTER COMPANY Same team, same handshake
For more than 30 years, Stellar Remodeling and Design has helped Charlottesville homeowners make their homes fit the way they live. Sometimes the best remodel isn't a new kitchen. It's getting back up to your own bedroom without a second thought.
Stellar Chair Lift brings the same integrity, local crew and straight-talk service to stair lifts, so you can stay in the home you love, on every floor of it.
What we install
STRAIGHT STAIRS Simple and quick
Most homes have a straight run of stairs, and that's the quickest lift to fit. The seat, arms and footrest fold up, so the stairs stay clear for everyone else.
CURVED STAIRS Made to measure
Landings, turns and spirals get a rail built for your exact staircase. No staircase too quirky to ask about.
OUTDOOR & PORCH Rain or shine
Front steps and deck stairs shouldn't decide when you can leave the house. Weather-ready lifts get you to the driveway and back.
The Stellar Way, on every step
At the heart of what we do is integrity. That doesn't change when the project is a stair lift.
Free in-home assessment. We measure your stairs and talk through how you use them before we quote anything.
Brands we trust. We install Nautilus and Medallion, the same "great reputation only" standard as our remodeling partners.
Local installers. The people who measure your stairs are the people who install your lift.
Backed by a warranty. Lifetime Warranty
Part of a bigger plan, if you want one. Pair your lift with a walk-in shower, grab bars or wider doorways from Stellar Remodeling and Design, and make the whole house fit.
Common questions
Will a lift fit my stairs? Almost certainly. Straight, curved, narrow or with a landing, we'll tell you at the free assessment.
Can the rest of the family still use the stairs? Yes. The seat folds up and parks out of the way at the top or bottom.
What does it cost? Every staircase is different, so we price after we've seen yours.
Do I need a remodel too? No. Many clients only need the lift. If you're also thinking about the bathroom or a first-floor bedroom, we can plan both together.
